• EXPLORE WILD TASMANIA

    access the inaccessible

ON AN EDGE OF THE WORLD TOUR, YOU WILL EXPERIENCE REAL CHARACTERS, RARE OPPORTUNITIES AND REMOTE PLACES THAT ONLY TASMANIA CAN OFFER.

Tasmania's remoteness has today become its greatest asset, its craggy coastline, unique wilderness opportunities and crystal waters luring more than one million visitors a year.

Our internationally recognised wilderness and World Heritage areas, together with a burgeoning foods and arts scene, is driving a tourism renaissance. While this is great news for Tasmania and those who visit, our aim is to provide our guests with an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ experience that gets them off the beaten track and into the Tasmania that locals know and love.

There is no better place to do this than on an Edge of the World Tour.

Real. Rare. Remote.

Edge of the World tours are all about providing our guests with a taste of the real, rare and remote Tasmania. During the day we’ll take you to places that most visitors to Tasmania will never have the chance to see, and of an evening, we’ll tell you about the Aborigines, explorers, convicts, miners and others that have called Tasmania home.

Whether camping or sleeping indoors, guests will be warm, comfortable and well fed, experiencing the unique food and beverages that only Tasmania can provide and other delights that are starring on restaurant menus around the world.

In terms of getting to places, most of the hard work is done by our well maintained and comfortable four-wheel drives, allowing guests plenty of time for short walks, relaxation and other activities like fishing and swimming where appropriate.

On our tours, you can be as active or inactive as you wish!

I love this place, and I know you will too.

  • THE EDGE OF THE WORLD

    NORTH WEST COAST TASMANIA

I cast my pebble onto the shore of Eternity.

To be washed by the Ocean of Time.

It has shape, form and substance,

    It is me.

One day I will be no more.

But my pebble will remain here.

    On the shore of Eternity.

    Mute witness for the aeons.

That today I came and stood,

At the edge of the world.
